"Early-90's Earnhardt" by Bryan Cook. Acrylic, digital process, on canvas.
Bryan Cook.com, Auto-Racing Artist:
This is one of the most powerful pieces of NASCAR art I’ve created. The famed black #3 Chevrolet driven by the late Dale Earnhardt towers over the observer, a tip of the hat to the dominance displayed by the driver and team for many seasons in the Cup series. Painted with acrylics on canvas, mixed with digital process, this large painting has been one of my most popular paintings.

Bryan Cook, Auto-Racing Artist: “Last month I was privileged to have the opportunity to publicly show my NASCAR-related artwork for the first time. The venue was Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates’ Fan Day at their race shop in Concord, NC. I had one original on display (”The Miami Debut”), as well as some limited edition prints of four different paintings. The positive feedback was amazing! Hundreds of people stopped by my table to look at the artwork and let me know how much they liked it.”

Bryan Cook, Auto-Racing Artist: “The painting I would like to release today is special to me for many reasons. The car depicted in this acrylic & digital painting ran in November 2006 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. It was the first time one of my designs appeared in competition on a NASCAR race car. Not to mention, it ran at the track I had watched numerous races at – a few miles from my hometown in Miami Springs. It was also Juan Pablo Montoya’s first Cup Series race. So for me, this painting is full of significance. I believe that shows through in the quality of the final product.”

Bryan Cook, Auto-Racing Artist: “Hi everyone! The first piece I would like to unveil is one that depicts Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car, sponsored here by Amp Energy drink. This is one of my favorite pieces. I’ve been developing this style over the past few years and I am proud to finally start releasing work to the public! Please leave your comments and let me know what you think. Also be sure to visit my website at www.bryancook.com for prints and a gallery!”
